Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk

About the role

Tilray Brands is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk to join its finance team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will manage day‑to‑day AP and AR activities, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payments, and customer collections.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general AP and AR performance levels, issuing intercompany and third‑party invoices.
• Audit purchase requests, review and validate invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
• Post invoices to the ERP system, obtain budget‑owner approvals, and monitor supplier payment terms.
• Contact customers for payment of invoices within agreed credit terms.
• Prepare monthly supplier reconciliations and provide AP/AR ageing reports.
• Assist finance teams during month‑end close and year‑end audits, including journal entry preparation.
• Identify and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts payable or receivable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and high ethical standards for handling confidential financial data.
• Excellent teamwork skills and ability to build relationships across departments.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• SAGE X3 (highly recommended)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
