Accounts Payable Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Shared Service Center. You will be responsible for processing invoices, managing payments and supporting month‑end activities for our global subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices (PO and non‑PO) and perform 2/3‑way matching.
• Prepare and execute payment runs in line with company policies.
• Resolve vendor and invoice queries while maintaining vendor master data.
• Support month‑end closing, accruals and AP reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, VAT requirements and audit standards.
• Contribute to AP process standardisation and automation within the SSC.

Required profile

• Vocational or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of AP or finance operations experience (SSC experience a plus).
• Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude and ability to handle high transaction volumes.
• Fluent English; additional European languages (Dutch, French, German) are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
