Accounting Analyst

About the role

Visteon is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Analyst to join its global finance team. The role supports financial accuracy, reporting processes, and internal controls while collaborating across business units.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial statements and general ledger accounts.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with business units to analyze variances and explain financial results.
• Strengthen internal control processes and support audit readiness.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives.
• Support risk assessment activities related to financial reporting and controls.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and special projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or auditing.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is a strong advantage.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress.
• Business‑level English required; German language proficiency is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency.
