Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will support the finance team by preparing financial analyses, ensuring the accuracy of accounting records, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role involves month‑end reconciliations, reporting, and assisting with budget and audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial analysis and reports for accounting sub‑ledgers.
• Book and manage accruals and month‑end postings, including depreciation and FX revaluation.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure accurate data capture before month‑end.
• Classify costs by business unit and cost centre, meeting company deadlines.
• Assist in budget preparation and perform actual‑versus‑budget analysis.
• Provide data for group reporting and support annual financial statements and external audits.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation, and ad‑hoc reporting requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3‑5 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to meet weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines.
• Proactive, disciplined and organized work approach.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Strong experience with SAP (including Concur, SAP MM and BPC).
• Fluent English communication skills.
