Accountant – Ireland (Portugal hub)

About the role

Renvolt is looking for an experienced Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting for its Irish entity, which operates under the Portugal hub. The role will handle full‑cycle accounting, tax compliance, and ERP support, contributing to the financial oversight of Renvolt's largest market.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with Irish GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations, journal entries and inter‑company validations.
• Maintain general ledger integrity, manage the fixed‑asset register and perform bank reconciliations.
• Issue customer invoices, monitor accounts receivable and support external audits.
• Prepare and file VAT, Corporation Tax (CT1), RCT and other statutory returns via ROS.
• File annual returns with the Companies Registration Office (CRO) and assist with transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Act as the IFS ERP reference for the Irish accounting scope, identify system improvements and support the transition to standalone finance processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics.
• 8‑10 years of experience in accounting, tax compliance and corporate finance.
• Strong knowledge of Irish tax systems (ROS) and ERP finance applications.
• Experience with consolidation and reporting tools, particularly OneStream.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including Power Query) and Power BI for automated dashboards.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and creating automated reporting tools.
• Hands‑on experience with IFS ERP; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations is a plus.
• In‑depth knowledge of OneStream for IFRS homogenisation journals.
