Accountant – Accounts Receivable & Payable

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join the finance team of MGM Muthu Hotels. The successful candidate will manage the full cycle of accounts receivable and payable, ensure accurate bookkeeping and support month‑end and year‑end closing processes across our global hotel portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Record and control all accounting entries.
• Manage accounts receivable: issue invoices, record receipts, settle payments and prepare weekly reports.
• Manage accounts payable: record supplier invoices, process payment requests and reconcile supplier statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and handle travel expense reimbursements.
• Prepare financial reports and accounting statements.
• Support monthly and annual account closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Assist internal and external auditors during audit engagements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Fluent English; Spanish knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a quick learning attitude.
• Dynamic, proactive and results‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
