Accounting, Tax & Compliance Specialist

About the role

At Innuos we design and build high‑performance digital audio products. The Accounting, Tax & Compliance Specialist ensures the accuracy, reliability and regulatory compliance of our financial processes while supporting the Finance team in month‑end and year‑end activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record, classify and control accounting transactions, maintaining high‑quality financial information.
• Perform monthly and year‑end closing activities, including reconciliations, account analysis and discrepancy resolution.
• Prepare and file tax returns and meet statutory reporting obligations on time.
• Support audits and external reviews by providing required financial documentation.
• Monitor financial compliance, internal controls and identify risks or improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to Finance process improvement, automation and the effective use of Odoo and other tools.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or related field.
• Solid practical experience in accounting and taxation.
• Good understanding of closing processes, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of financial compliance and internal control principles.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Portuguese and working proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly Odoo.
• Experience using accounting and tax software tools.
