Accountant – Accounts Receivable & Payable

About the role

MGM Muthu Hotels is looking for a diligent Accountant to manage its core financial processes. You will work within a fast‑growing hotel group, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and supporting month‑end and year‑end closures.

Key responsibilities

• Record and control accounting entries.
• Manage accounts receivable: issue invoices, record receipts, settle payments, and prepare weekly reports.
• Manage accounts payable: record invoices, process payment requests, and verify supplier statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Process travel expenses.
• Prepare financial reports and accounting statements.
• Support monthly and annual account closing.
• Ensure tax and accounting compliance.
• Assist internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and quick learning ability.
• Dynamic, proactive and results‑oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
