Account Manager – Wholesale (Portugal)

About the role

Clarks is expanding its wholesale business across Portugal and is looking for a proactive Account Manager to join the Iberian Wholesale team. This home‑based, field‑focused position offers significant autonomy and the chance to shape the brand’s presence in the local market.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop an assigned sales territory, nurturing relationships with independent retailers and wholesale customers.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, presenting seasonal collections and driving sell‑in performance.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, trading terms, and support customers with product, merchandising, and seasonal planning.
• Monitor sales, stock levels, and commercial opportunities, providing market insights to internal teams.
• Plan and execute regular travel throughout the territory to ensure excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of wholesale sales experience, preferably in footwear, fashion or related consumer goods.
• Established retailer relationships within the Portuguese market.
• Strong commercial track record with proven ability to win and grow business.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and independent working skills.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Professional fluency in Portuguese.
• Business‑level English (preferred, but not mandatory).
