Account Manager – Dutch Speaker

About the role

As an Account Manager for Linde Global Services in Porto, you will be responsible for driving revenue and profit growth within the gas and industrial gases market. You will work closely with field sales and internal resources to develop strong customer relationships and deliver tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve revenue and profit targets through volume growth, pricing contracts, and cost‑to‑serve management.
• Manage a portfolio of customers, maximizing profitability by understanding each customer’s value drivers.
• Document business development and account activities in Connect CRM following defined rules.
• Collaborate with field sales across all customer segments.
• Create stakeholder maps to identify decision‑makers and influence the sales process.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct outbound calls, involve customers in agenda setting, and engage internal resources as needed.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of sales or commercial experience in the gas, chemical or related manufacturing industry.
• 3–5 years of account management experience, primarily via phone and outbound calls.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Native or C2 level proficiency in Dutch (required) and at least B1 level English (preferred).
