Windows System Administrator (Mid-level)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a mid‑level Windows System Administrator to join its hybrid team. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Windows infrastructure for multiple clients, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP services.
• Monitor performance and security using SolarWinds and create dashboards.
• Automate tasks with PowerShell scripts and Ansible playbooks.
• Support load‑balancing and SSL VPN technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across infrastructure, network, security and Wintel teams.
• Follow ITIL Incident and Change Management processes within an Agile framework.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience with Windows infrastructure in enterprise settings.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, AD, GPO, DNS and DHCP.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Ansible automation.
• Hands‑on experience with SolarWinds monitoring tools.
• Ability to work with load‑balancing and SSL VPN solutions.
• Fluent Portuguese and English (C1 or higher).
