Water Application Technician

About the role

The Water Application Technician supports sales and technical teams by installing, commissioning, and maintaining Cesco’s proprietary wastewater treatment pilot systems and full‑scale testing programs at food‑processing and other industrial sites. The role combines field service, data analysis, and customer liaison to ensure optimal performance of water‑treatment chemistries.

Key responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize treatment equipment and chemical feed systems on‑site.
• Collect, analyze, and report performance data to improve treatment outcomes.
• Provide technical support during equipment installations, customer trials, and ongoing programs.
• Prepare and transport pilot equipment between projects and maintain accurate service records.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, manage assigned accounts, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Promote and sell industrial water and wastewater treatment solutions, conduct presentations, and support proposal preparation.
• Collaborate with internal sales, technical, finance, and marketing teams to deliver excellent service.
• Travel extensively (50‑90% of the time) across the assigned territory, working remotely when not onsite.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in water and wastewater treatment.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work flexible hours based on project needs.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work both onsite and remotely.
