Executive Assistant to Plant Manager

About the role

As the right‑hand to the Plant Manager at Testo’s Albergaria‑a‑Velha site, you will ensure smooth daily operations, support strategic initiatives and act as a key communication hub across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, run and follow up on management meetings, workshops and site visits; draft decision papers, presentations and executive summaries.
• Implement and maintain steering tools, reporting systems, KPI/OKR tracking and performance dashboards.
• Serve as interface between local teams, corporate HQ and external partners; coordinate projects across R&D, production, logistics, procurement and other functions.
• Research best practices, identify operational risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor budget adherence, analyse cost‑saving opportunities and support HR in workforce planning, onboarding and training.
• Contribute to smart‑factory initiatives, organise strategic off‑sites, town‑halls and plant tours, and prepare internal and external communications.

Required profile

• Completed university degree, ideally in engineering, business or a related field.
• Relevant experience in project management, operations or consulting, preferably in an industrial or international environment.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; German is a plus.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, calm under pressure, adaptable and service‑oriented with strong communication and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with digital tools and reporting systems.
