Value Stream Planner

About the role

The Value Stream Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining detailed production schedules for each machine, ensuring material availability, capacity, and manpower align with business priorities. The role supports the Site Master Planner and Material Planner and acts as a liaison between supply chain and production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a one‑month detailed production schedule per machine, considering back‑orders, material availability, capacity, manning, priorities, maintenance and change‑over sequencing.
• Lead daily reviews of completions versus targets, coordinate corrective actions with supervisors and the Value Stream Manager.
• Communicate the production plan through scheduled meetings with production and supply‑chain teams.
• Maintain master data for ERP (E1) and OMP systems to ensure accurate planning.
• Participate in daily Gemba meetings, weekly planning meetings and cross‑functional projects such as launches, change‑overs and lean initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum B2 level proficiency in English.
• At least five years of experience in production planning or related manufacturing roles.
• Experience in a medical‑device manufacturing environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Lean or Black Belt certification (preferred).
• APICS certification (preferred).
• Analytical mindset and proactive attitude.
