Trainee Civil Engineer – Building Hydraulics

About the role

Quadrante is seeking a Trainee Civil Engineer – Predial Hydraulics to join its Alfragide office. The role is permanent and entry‑level, focusing on the design and optimisation of building hydraulic systems for complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design of building hydraulics technical solutions, ensuring compliance with regulations and senior‑team guidelines.
• Collaborate in optimising solutions, balancing technical performance, economic viability and environmental impact.
• Help meet project deadlines by managing assigned tasks effectively.
• Assist in developing tools and work methodologies that improve productivity and continuous improvement.
• Stay informed on trends, best practices and new technological developments relevant to building hydraulics.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Strong work capacity and adaptability to different project typologies.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
