Toolmaker - 3rd Shift

About the role

The Toolmaker on the 3rd shift is responsible for planning, building and adjusting tools, dies, molds and components used in the manufacturing process. Working from drawings, samples or verbal instructions, the role ensures all parts meet established tolerances while adhering to safety, quality and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, repair, construct and adjust complex tools, dies and molds according to specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings and verbal instructions to produce required components.
• Set up and operate precision machines, perform diagnostic tests and make necessary adjustments.
• Cut, modify and shape metal or other material parts following detailed specifications.
• Provide support to the tool room staff and maintain up‑to‑date project documentation.
• Keep the work area clean, manage waste according to procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Identify abnormalities in components or machinery and notify the supervisor.
• Operate company vehicles and, when required, floor‑mounted cranes.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Welding, Tooling, Mechanics or a completed Machine Shop course.
• 0‑6 months experience in manufacturing, equipment repair or tool fabrication.
• Ability to follow safety, quality and HR policies.
