Manufacturing Digitalization Internship – Industry 4.0

About the role

This extracurricular internship gives you the chance to work side‑by‑side with Bosch's Manufacturing Digitalization team, supporting the Home Comfort division worldwide. You will join a cross‑functional group focused on Industry 4.0 platform development, software automation and emerging technology trials.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the Industry 4.0 Platform for Bosch Home Comfort.
• Automate deployment operations for manufacturing software.
• Study and trial new or emerging technologies relevant to Industry 4.0.

Required profile

• Academic background in Engineering (Informatics, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics) or Computer Science.
• Fluent communication in English and willingness to work in a cross‑site project team.
• Proactive, results‑oriented attitude with a strong willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Angular (v16+) and TypeScript.
• C# on the .NET platform and Python.
• Micro‑frontend and micro‑service architectures.
• Relational and non‑relational databases.
• Kubernetes clusters, Windows Server environments.
• Monitoring tools such as ElasticSearch, Prometheus, Splunk.
• CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, SonarQube and JFrog.
