Technical Support Engineer – OPO

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join its Porto office. You will work on the OPO platform, ensuring smooth operation, handling incidents, and supporting the release lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse production processes, including change and release management.
• Review daily reports, logs and complex alerts to maintain system performance.
• Deploy new platform versions, perform migrations and execute non‑regression tests.
• Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues across Linux and database environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in client‑facing IT support.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Solid understanding of Linux administration and database concepts.
• Familiarity with programming fundamentals like call stacks, threading, synchronization, performance optimisation and debugging.
• Ability to communicate effectively in French, both written and spoken.
