System Administrator – Windows & Linux (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

PrimeIT is looking for a skilled System Administrator to join its Lisbon team. The role focuses on supporting Windows and Linux infrastructures while driving automation, migrations, and other innovative projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily infrastructure support for Windows and Linux environments.
• Develop and implement process automation using PowerShell or Bash.
• Plan and execute system migrations and related projects.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DHCP and DNS services.
• Maintain virtualization platforms and ensure system availability.
• Monitor systems and configure alerting/observability tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
• Proven hands‑on experience with both Microsoft and Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and virtualization.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting systems.
• Proficiency in English.
