System Administrator (Linux) – Mid Level

About the role

KCS IT is looking for a motivated mid‑level Linux System Administrator to join our hybrid team. You will work on production environments for multiple clients, ensuring reliable and secure services while collaborating with a diverse, inclusive group of professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux servers in production, handling incidents and performance tuning.
• Configure and support application servers such as Apache, NGINX, Tomcat and HAProxy.
• Automate routine tasks using Ansible and develop scripts in Bash and Python.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and implement high‑availability and load‑balancing solutions.
• Monitor systems, collect logs, and ensure observability using appropriate tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Linux in production environments.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
