System Administrator – IT Infrastructure & Security

About the role

Air Apps is looking for a proactive System Administrator to manage and secure its corporate IT environment. You will ensure that all internal systems, cloud services, and SaaS tools run smoothly and safely for teams in Lisbon and San Francisco.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain corporate IT infrastructure, including SaaS applications, cloud services (AWS, Azure) and internal systems.
• Manage user access, provisioning and identity across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Okta, Azure AD and other IAM platforms.
• Implement network security measures, endpoint protection, VPNs, firewalls and zero‑trust policies.
• Monitor hardware and software performance, troubleshoot incidents and automate routine tasks.
• Support and configure company‑wide SaaS tools such as Slack, Zoom, Notion and the Atlassian suite.
• Handle onboarding and off‑boarding processes, ensuring proper account creation and deactivation.
• Maintain software licences, compliance documentation and IT security best practices (MFA, RBAC).

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in IT or systems administration.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based environments (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS or Azure).
• Proficiency with identity and access management tools (Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud).
• Familiarity with endpoint management (Jamf, Intune, Kandji) and network security concepts.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work independently.
