Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Support Engineer to own day‑to‑day IT operations for a 220‑person global company. You will be the primary internal IT contact, manage onboarding and off‑boarding automation, maintain compliance evidence for ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and help evaluate and roll out new AI tools such as Claude.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the IT helpdesk queue: resolve, close or escalate tickets with clear ownership.
• Run end‑to‑end onboarding and off‑boarding workflows (Jamf provisioning, Okta access, app assignments, hardware setup).
• Administer the macOS fleet via Jamf Pro, including device enrollment, policy deployment and software management.
• Manage Okta user lifecycle, MFA, and end‑user troubleshooting.
• Own Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administration (mailboxes, groups, shared drives, licensing).
• Coordinate hardware logistics with the office manager and keep asset records up to date.
• Maintain and improve automation workflows, build lightweight scripts (Python, Shell, Google Apps Script) to eliminate repetitive work.
• Support Claude enterprise administration and monitor AI tools for anomalies.
• Gather and maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 evidence in Vanta, perform periodic access reviews and assist with InfoSec audits.

• Self‑directed and able to identify and execute needed tasks without hand‑holding.
• High‑closure bias: prefers empty queues and resolved tickets.
• Security‑conscious, understands the rationale behind security standards.
