Supply Chain Excellence Engineer

About the role

The Supply Chain Excellence Engineer will drive operational excellence across the end‑to‑end supply chain at the Felgueiras site. You will partner with the Head of Supply Chain to identify improvement opportunities, lead cross‑functional projects and implement Lean, digital and automation solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the site’s Supply Chain Excellence roadmap in partnership with senior leadership.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PDCA and structured problem‑solving.
• Manage cross‑functional projects from opportunity identification through implementation and benefit realization.
• Drive digital transformation, including ERP optimisation, warehouse‑management improvements and Power BI/Power Apps dashboards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Mapping workshops and design optimal warehouse layouts and material‑flow strategies.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and analytics to monitor performance and support decision‑making.
• Create and maintain training materials, SOPs and ensure local compliance with global supply‑chain procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Materials, Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing and continuous‑improvement experience.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt preferred).
• Preferred: ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification, medical‑device industry experience, ERP and Warehouse Management Systems experience.
