Supplier Relationship Manager – Strategic Supplier Oversight

About the role

The Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) will lead the management of strategic supplier relationships to support Colt Technology Services’ operational, financial and service delivery goals. You will act as the main liaison between third‑party suppliers and internal teams, ensuring contractual commitments are met and continuous improvement is driven.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with strategic suppliers to support business and customer objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs, SLAs and contracts, and lead regular performance review meetings.
• Identify and deliver continuous‑improvement opportunities to enhance service quality, resilience, innovation and cost‑effectiveness.
• Partner with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Technology and Operations on supplier selection, onboarding, governance and contract lifecycle activities.
• Assess and manage supplier‑related risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are in place.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier performance issues, service concerns and disputes.
• Manage contract renewals, renegotiations and commercial discussions to secure value for money.
• Ensure supplier governance, assurance and due‑diligence activities comply with internal policies and standards.
• Prepare and present regular reporting on supplier performance, trends, risks and improvement actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing strategic supplier relationships.
• Ability to work closely with internal stakeholders across Procurement, Legal, Finance, Technology and Operations.
• Strong risk assessment and mitigation capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills for escalation handling and stakeholder updates.
• Negotiation and contract management experience.
