Quality Assurance Engineer - Software Security

About the role

Join Nokia’s Optical Networks R&D team to develop secure, high‑performance networking solutions for next‑generation communication infrastructures. As a member of an Agile Scrum team, you will embed security and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test solutions using Python.
• Execute functional and security testing, including authentication, authorization, API security, vulnerability validation and robustness testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous validation.
• Collaborate with developers, architects and security specialists to support secure‑by‑design development.
• Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives, security automation and AI‑assisted testing approaches.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Python test automation.
• Solid knowledge of software security principles, Linux environments and networking fundamentals.
• Understanding of security testing and secure development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.
