Solution Architect

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a Solution Architect to join a leading European mobility services provider. Based in Porto, you will help design and implement secure, cloud‑native solutions that enable sustainable, technology‑driven mobility.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce security strategies, policies and controls aligned with business and regulatory goals.
• Design, assess and review security architectures across applications, cloud platforms and infrastructure.
• Identify, evaluate and mitigate security risks, vulnerabilities and threats.
• Guide development teams on secure software design, threat modeling and compliance.
• Support security governance activities such as audits, risk assessments and continuous improvement.
• Participate in incident response, investigations and remediation.
• Promote security awareness and embed security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as a Solution Architect.
• Proven track record designing end‑to‑end application and solution architectures.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience with APIs, microservices, integrations and containerised solutions.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD and security‑by‑design principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in English.
