Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Software Engineer to join our team in Figueira da Foz. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining back-end web solutions that power our cutting‑edge Auto Identification products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust back-end services and APIs.
• Write clean, efficient code and perform thorough debugging.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and product specialists, to deliver innovative solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases, applying best practices in software development.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Computer Science with a bachelor’s degree or higher in CS, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming and solid understanding of software development principles.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and structured problem solving.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with RFID, biometric systems or IoT technologies is a plus.
