Site Supervisor - High Voltage Substation

About the role

We are looking for a Site Supervisor to lead the construction and commissioning of high‑voltage substations (AIS/GIS) for Siemens Energy. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from civil and structural works through to electrical testing and hand‑over, ensuring quality, safety and technical compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction and commissioning of AIS/GIS high‑voltage plant and equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors, operations teams and suppliers to meet project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain relationships with local communities and ensure compliance with consents.
• Lead site teams in line with Siemens Energy culture and core values.
• Monitor inspection and test plans, driving continuous improvement and quality assurance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction and commissioning of AIS/GIS high‑voltage substations.
• Background working with multiple contractors and subcontractors on complex projects.
• Strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts and plan site activities.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with AIS and GIS substation technologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
