Site Reliability Engineer – Porto

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join a new Tech Hub in Porto. You will help ensure the availability, performance, and resilience of cloud‑native platforms and customer‑facing services for a leading European mobility services provider.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve reliability, scalability, and observability of distributed systems.
• Implement and manage SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs in collaboration with product teams.
• Set up end‑to‑end monitoring, logging, and tracing across services.
• Analyze bottlenecks, respond to incidents, and drive root‑cause remediation.
• Partner with development, architecture, security, and data teams to embed reliability early in the SDLC.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and follow structured incident, problem, and change management processes.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles and production operations.
• Experience with Linux‑based systems and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and Agile teams.
• Strong incident response and problem‑solving skills.
