Site Activation Manager – Sponsor Facing

About the role

The Site Activation Manager (Sponsor Facing) leads the strategic, operational, and financial delivery of site activation activities for global or multi‑regional clinical studies. Working remotely, you will accelerate site start‑up to enable timely patient enrollment while ensuring compliance with sponsor and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and project management for site activation across assigned studies and regions.
• Lead the end‑to‑end start‑up process from pre‑award through site activation, ensuring compliance with ICH‑GCP and local regulations.
• Develop and execute a Site Activation Management Plan aligned with study strategy.
• Coordinate with internal teams, regional units, and external stakeholders to streamline study start‑up.
• Oversee regulatory submissions, approvals, contracts, and essential documentation.
• Identify risks, propose solutions, and support bid and business development activities.
• Mentor team members, drive continuous improvement, and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of clinical research experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven international project experience across multiple regions.
• Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
