ServiceNow Developer

About the role

Intermedia is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join its IT organization in Portugal. The role involves designing, developing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow solutions that streamline business workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enhance user experience across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, forms, lists, flows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, script includes, notifications, and service catalog items.
• Build and improve workflows using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, approvals, and catalog workflows to reduce manual effort.
• Support and enhance ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Asset, and Configuration Management.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and import sets.
• Document solutions, ensure security compliance, and follow platform standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on technical contributor with strong aptitude for platform development.
• Disciplined configuration practices and ability to deliver reliable ServiceNow solutions.
• Effective collaboration with IT, Security, HR, Finance, and other business stakeholders.
• Experience translating business processes into scalable ServiceNow capabilities.

Required skills

• ServiceNow platform development (JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Notifications).
• Flow Designer and IntegrationHub workflow automation.
• ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Asset, CMDB.
• REST and SOAP API integration, MID Server configuration.
• Service Catalog design and management.
