Senior Strategic Buyer – Electronics

About the role

KEENFINITY is seeking a Senior Strategic Buyer to lead the global sourcing of electronic components and assemblies for both series production and new product initiatives. You will be responsible for driving cost‑optimization, ensuring supply‑chain resilience, and collaborating across engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic procurement plans for electronic components and assemblies.
• Identify and implement cost‑optimization opportunities across the commodity portfolio.
• Manage global supplier relationships, including qualification, development, and onboarding.
• Negotiate supply agreements and contracts on an international scale.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing to continuously improve component performance and availability.
• Monitor market dynamics and mitigate supply risks to ensure stable global supply.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of strategic procurement experience in the electronics sector (B2B).
• Several years within an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment with proven results.
• Deep understanding of procurement processes, cost‑optimization methods, and supplier management best practices.
• Strong knowledge of the electronics market, supplier landscape, and industry trends.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
