Process Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Process Engineer to join our team in the Ovar area. You will support industrialisation, develop and optimise adhesive bonding processes and work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support industrialisation from process trials and validation through to production implementation.
• Develop, optimise and standardise adhesive bonding processes for stable, efficient and repeatable production.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, R&D, Maintenance and suppliers to resolve technical challenges and improve performance.
• Optimise bonding across substrates such as PC, PC‑ABS, ABS, metals, glass and composites.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on reliability, productivity, quality, cost reduction and waste minimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with joining processes for plastics, metals, glass or composites.
• Strong understanding of process optimisation techniques (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) and quality systems (ISO, GMP, FMEA).
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
