Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Zego is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its backend team. You will work on Python‑based microservices that power insurance products for drivers and gig workers, helping to build reliable, scalable systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and own Python microservices that deliver business value.
• Write clean, well‑documented code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and other cross‑functional partners.
• Continuously improve development processes, tooling and system observability.

Required profile

• Strong background in computer engineering with proven experience building backend systems and cloud microservices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset and curiosity about AI‑enhanced development.
