Senior Software Engineer (Full-stack Node+React)

About the role

Dynamic Yield, a Mastercard business, is looking for a Senior Full-stack Engineer to join its Lisbon team. You will help create innovative, high-performance user experiences by building scalable, real-time applications using modern web technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Design and implement low-latency, event-driven, scalable applications leveraging Docker, Kubernetes and micro-service architectures.
• Debug complex technical issues across a deep stack that includes containers and distributed services.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best-practice development standards.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend development experience, primarily with JavaScript, preferably using Node.js and React.
• Strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering end-to-end features.
• Understanding of product development and a focus on creating great user experiences.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and testing scalable distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
