Senior Software Architect – Hybrid (Portugal)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Software Architect to lead technical decisions, define development guidelines, and design scalable enterprise architectures for our clients. The position is hybrid, based in Portugal, and involves working with cloud platforms and modern frontend and backend technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Make technical decisions in projects using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring good practices and efficient resource use.
• Define development guidelines and support teams across frontend (React, Angular, Vue) and backend (Node.js, Java, Python) technologies.
• Use and manage container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure deployments.
• Design and improve enterprise application architectures that scale while maintaining performance, security, and maintainability.

Required profile

• Proven experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong backend development skills using Node.js, Java, and Python.
• Experience with microservices architecture, CI/CD processes, and automation.
• Ability to adapt and continue learning in a fast‑changing environment.
• Good level of English.
