Senior Project Manager (Remote – Portugal)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead cross‑functional and technical projects for a variety of clients. The role is fully remote within Portugal and requires a proactive leader who can balance Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage senior stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, risk registers, and resource plans.
• Ensure quality standards and deliverables meet client requirements.
• Adapt project methodology (Agile or Waterfall) to suit each engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT or engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese and based in Portugal.
