Senior Project Manager

About the role

Findmore Consulting, a European IT consultancy, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead software development and digital transformation initiatives across Portugal and Europe. The role will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver software development and digital transformation projects.
• Define scope, timelines, milestones, budgets and allocate resources.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Product, Development, QA, Infrastructure and business stakeholders.
• Manage risks, dependencies, issues and change requests with appropriate mitigation.
• Provide regular status updates and executive reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and enforce project governance and best practices.
• Monitor performance using KPIs and delivery metrics, driving continuous improvement.
• Oversee project budgets, forecasts and resource planning.
• Support business analysis to ensure clear requirements and deliverables.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the lifecycle.

Required profile

• 7+ years experience managing IT or software development projects.
• Proven ability to run multiple projects from initiation to delivery.
• Strong background in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban or hybrid).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Solid risk‑management, planning and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Fluent in English and able to work within the EU.
