Senior Payroll Transformation Business Analyst

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Senior Payroll Transformation Business Analyst to drive the global payroll strategy, from input validation to employee and tax disbursement. You will work closely with HR business partners, local teams, and IT to design, implement, and continuously improve payroll processes and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and support payroll governance, process, and system strategy aligned with global standards.
• Capture, document, and migrate local payroll knowledge, policies, and processes into the HR Shared Services model.
• Collaborate with system vendors, country teams, and shared‑service operations to implement solutions that meet both global design and local requirements.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert on payroll system functionality, handling enhancement requests and change management.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications with IT and prioritize future enhancements.
• Lead design sessions, optimize system configuration, and streamline the end‑user experience.
• Develop, maintain, and report on SLAs and KPI dashboards.
• Create and update training materials, job aids, system documentation, and policies.
• Communicate system and business updates to stakeholders and represent Payroll in shared‑services initiatives.
• Support operational teams in assessing policy impacts and conduct surveys and audit controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience (preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in payroll, HR business analysis, or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional design and implementation projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and change‑management skills.
