Senior Linux System Administrator (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

KCS IT is looking for a Senior Linux System Administrator to join our Lisbon hub. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while supporting a variety of clients across different sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor Linux servers for performance, availability, and security.
• Diagnose and resolve system performance issues and incidents.
• Implement security hardening, patch management, and compliance measures.
• Collaborate with client teams to deliver reliable infrastructure services.
• Document procedures, configurations, and incident reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience as a Linux System Administrator.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
• Solid understanding of Linux system security concepts.
• Good level of English communication.
