Senior Global IT Operations Lead

About the role

Join Emma – The Sleep Company as a Senior Global IT Operations Lead, steering the IT Operations function across multiple international sites. You will lead a diverse team of around 10 IT professionals, driving strategy, security, and efficiency in our cloud and endpoint environments while supporting the company's mission to improve sleep.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a multi‑site team of IT Systems Engineers (Frankfurt, Lisbon, Mexico City, Manila) through regular 1:1s and performance management.
• Own hiring, onboarding and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Oversee Office 365 and Microsoft Azure environments, managing the Identity Provider (Microsoft Entra) and enforcing best‑practice governance, access control and cost efficiency.
• Define and execute the end‑to‑end device and endpoint management strategy, standardising Windows and macOS deployment via Intune and coordinating asset lifecycle with Procurement.
• Develop and drive the IT Operations roadmap aligned with business priorities, collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders on infrastructure improvements and automation initiatives.
• Make architectural decisions, lead cross‑team projects and represent IT Operations in broader organisational planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a team‑lead or people‑management role within IT Operations.
• Strong hands‑on background in Azure, Microsoft Entra and Intune, capable of both leading and executing technical tasks.
• Proven track record of delivering end‑to‑end technical projects across cross‑functional teams.
