Senior Full-Stack Software Developer – Data

About the role

Intermedia is looking for a senior software engineer who combines strong data‑engineering expertise with full‑stack development skills. You will design and build cloud‑first microservices that handle high‑volume data and create responsive web applications that let users explore and interact with that data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java microservices using Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance responsive front‑end applications with React.
• Implement APIs and services for large‑scale data ingestion, processing, and retrieval.
• Write and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures to support data pipelines.
• Integrate new services with both modern cloud platforms and legacy systems.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, product managers, and designers.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop unit, integration, and data tests to ensure reliable delivery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background in building data‑intensive applications.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
