Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer (French language)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer who can ensure the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of our cloud platform. The role involves building cloud‑native systems, automating operations, and supporting development teams to deliver highly available services while using French for communication when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain highly available, scalable infrastructure on AWS (and optionally Azure/GCP).
• Own production reliability using SRE principles (SLO, SLI, error budgets).
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• Manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, Helm.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Splunk).
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis and post‑mortems.
• Drive performance optimisation, capacity planning, scaling and disaster‑recovery.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment strategies and system resilience.
• Apply security best practices (IAM, secret management, vulnerability scanning, patching).
• Maintain operational standards, runbooks and documentation.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and provide senior‑level support for critical issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering.
• Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven production experience with Kubernetes.
• Solid experience with CI/CD tools and IaC (Terraform preferred).
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, reverse proxies).
• Fluent French (good level) for collaboration.
