Senior Android Mobile Developer

About the role

Mindera is looking for a Senior Android Mobile Developer to join its growing team. You will work on high‑impact mobile products, collaborating closely with engineering, design and client teams to deliver scalable, user‑friendly applications.

Key responsibilities

• Build high‑quality, scalable Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Design and implement robust architectures such as MVVM.
• Create smooth, intuitive user experiences with thoughtful UX patterns.
• Write clean, testable code and maintain strong unit and UI test coverage.
• Take ownership of features from development through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with clients and cross‑functional teams to shape technical solutions.
• Participate in architectural discussions and make effective technical decisions.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve production issues promptly.
• Apply best practices like test‑driven development, continuous delivery and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, with exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Experience building declarative UIs with Jetpack Compose (including Compose Multiplatform where applicable).
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming using Coroutines or RxJava.
• Good grasp of software architecture patterns such as MVVM.
• Experience with unit and UI testing practices and tools.
• Knowledge of service‑oriented architectures, design patterns and core data structures.
• Comfortable working in cross‑functional, feature‑focused teams and collaborating with clients.
• Familiarity with test‑driven development and continuous delivery.
