Retail Sales Assistant – Luxury Club

About the role

We are looking for a talented Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club, a private members‑only residential community in Comporta, Portugal. In this role you will deliver excellent customer service and support daily shop operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist members and guests with purchases, returns and special orders while delivering exceptional service.
• Support daily shop operations including sales, merchandising, display rotation and maintaining packaging standards.
• Process incoming merchandise, manage POS transactions and monitor sales performance.
• Maintain accurate inventory by following monthly stock procedures and reporting low or high‑demand items.
• Keep retail supplies stocked and assist the Retail Supervisor with additional tasks as needed.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of retail or customer‑service experience, preferably in boutique, hospitality or private‑club settings.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; retail math is a plus.
• Creative, proactive and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule and physically able to stand for long periods and lift items up to 20 kg.
