Receptionist – Residence Front Desk (Porto Campus)

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors at our Porto Campus residence. You will support day‑to‑day front‑desk operations, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome residents, guests, and visitors, delivering a courteous and professional first impression.
• Manage front‑desk and telephone inquiries, responding promptly to requests and issues.
• Assist with check‑in and check‑out processes, especially during peak operational times.
• Perform administrative duties, handle correspondence, and keep internal documentation up to date.
• Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Operations teams to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Monitor building access, manage keys, and enforce residence service standards.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and values through excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in reception or front‑desk roles, preferably in hospitality, student accommodation, or a customer‑focused environment.
• Strong customer orientation with excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• High level of responsibility, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, especially during peak periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
