Quality Leader

About the role

The Quality Leader supports an ALPLA plant by driving Quality Assurance initiatives. You will set the local quality strategy, raise standards, and ensure that both production and laboratory activities deliver products that meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the local quality strategy, goals and objectives.
• Coordinate and supervise all QA activities in production and the laboratory.
• Guarantee that production output complies with customer specifications.
• Manage quality‑related communication with customers and internal departments.
• Travel as required to support quality initiatives across sites.

Required profile

• Academic degree in chemistry, science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA experience, including a proven track record as a QA Manager.
• Demonstrated leadership and employee development skills.
• Highly self‑motivated, organized and able to work in a multi‑task environment.
• Fluent English and local language.

Required skills

• Use of physical lab testing equipment (calipers, scales, digital height gauge, compression force testing equipment).
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Experience applying IMS tools and techniques.
