Quality Engineer – Manufacturing Excellence

About the role

Join Grohe Portugal as a Quality Engineer and become the bridge between factories, R&D, purchasing and marketing. You will ensure product excellence throughout the lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and supporting safe product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Apply quality tools such as FMEA to projects and monitor project maturity.
• Conduct process audits and maintain top‑tier standards.
• Identify quality risks, implement corrective actions and support safe launch activities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for new and existing products.
• Report and monitor quality performance metrics, including error rates and cost of quality.

Required profile

• Degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on quality management experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; IATF 16949 experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with APQP/Stage‑Gate processes.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• FMEA methodology.
• APQP and Stage‑Gate process expertise.
• Six Sigma or auditor training (desired).
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of MS Project and SAP (advantageous).
