Quality Control Assistant

About the role

Delnext is looking for a proactive Quality Control Assistant to ensure that all food products meet strict safety and quality standards. You will work on‑site in Cacém – Sintra, supporting the production team and contributing to the company’s mission of delivering safe, high‑quality food.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on raw materials, in‑process production, and finished goods.
• Document and register all quality control activities in the Document Management System.
• Verify compliance with regulatory requirements and internal company policies.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assist in preparing for food certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and IFS Foods.

Required profile

• Higher education in Food Industry, Chemistry, Quality, Science, or Laboratory Techniques.
• 1–2 years of experience in the food industry.
• Training or experience with HACCP, ISO 22000, and IFS Foods.
• Highly detail‑oriented, proactive, and responsible.
