Python Developer (with PL/SQL) – Hybrid in Portugal

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong PL/SQL expertise to join our team in Portugal. The role focuses on building clean, maintainable Python applications while handling complex database logic and supporting DevOps pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable Python code following software engineering best practices.
• Develop, optimise and troubleshoot complex SQL and PL/SQL queries.
• Use the Linux command line for environment navigation, script execution and workflow support.
• Apply established design patterns to create scalable solution architectures.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, SonarQube and XLDeploy.
• Contribute to automated build, test and deployment processes within a DevOps culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• Based in Portugal with EU citizenship or a valid Portuguese work permit.
• Willing to work on‑site two days per week in Lisbon or Porto (hybrid model).
